Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of computers, bookkeeping and office procedures
Reports to: Building Principal
Goal: To assist school personnel by the efficient operation of the school building office
- Process school correspondence.
- Prepare copies and forms as needed.
- Maintain all files in complete and accurate manner.
- Maintaince student attendance.
- Prepare daily announcements.
- Assist in the enrollment of new employees.
- Maintain an inventory of office and building supplies
- Order and maintain supplies as approved by the Principal.
- Keep the Principal informed of appropriate issues.
- Receive students, staff and visitor in a courteous manner.
- Properly account for monies, prepare deposit slips.
- Make decisions for the best interests of the District and within Board policies and CSIP objectives.
- Promote positive relations between the building, District, Board and community.
- Execute all polices, rules and regulation adopted the the Board.
- Assists in tracking leave(s) of absence for building personnel.
- Maintains high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
- Completes and submits data entry tasks for Core Data, and work directly with MOSIS director/Registrar.
- Provides substitute teacher list to building principles.
- Attend all required meetings.
- Greets visitors courteously and determines their needs, checks appointments, and directs them to the proper person.
- Answers office telephones & responds appropriately to requests for information.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Terms of employment: Contract to be establised by the Board - generally nine months.
Evaluation: Annualy by building Principal in accordance with policy.
A criminal fingerprint/background clearance is required.
